Media Across Borders: The 1st International Conference on the Localisation of Film, Television and Video Games

Saturday 9th June, 2012 at the University of Roehampton, London 

We are very pleased to announce that registration for the Media Across Borders conference is now open ON OUR WEBSITE.

Speakers at our conference include:

Professor Koichi Iwabuchi - author of Recentering Globalization: Popular Culture and Japanese Transnationalism

Professor Jeanette Steemers - author of Selling Television: British Television in the Global Marketplace

Professor Lucy Mazdon - author of Encore Hollywood: Remaking French Cinema

Professor Lothar Mikos - author of Innovation im Fernsehen am Beispiel von Quizshow-Formaten

Professor Frederic Chaume - author of Doblatge i subtitulació per a la TV

Dr Constantine Verevis - author of Film Remakes

Dr Tejaswini Ganti - author of Producing Bollywood

Dr Laurence Raw - editor of Translation, Adaptation and Transformation

On the conference website, you will find the full conference programme, presenters’ abstracts, and the link to the Roehampton e-store to book your place.

The fee is £30 (standard) / £15 (student) and this will include lunch and refreshments throughout the day.

Please note that the deadline for registration is Thursday 31st May.
