BUFVC Archive Survey

Printable version Friday 22 November 2013 Last updated at 16:50

The BUFVC are currently working on an important project to establish which items from the BBC archives would be of greatest value for teaching and research in further and higher education. In broadcasting terms (TV and radio), this covers the period from 1922 to date, but we’re particularly interested in the need for pre-2007 content, including non-broadcast material such as documentation, photographs and sheet music.

To get this right, we’d like your views on which items are most sought after by academics; we will then use this information to highlight the need that exists for increased access to archive materials. While we can’t guarantee that the materials sought can be made available, this is a valuable opportunity for us to identify and assess the educational value of older archive content on behalf of the academic community.

Just click on the link below to complete the survey; all participants will be entered into a prize draw to win amazon vouchers worth £50!

The deadline for completion is 30th November. If you have any questions, please contact Olwen Terris (Project Researcher – BUFVC RES Project) at olwen@bufvc.ac.uk. Thanks for your time!
